houseConstruction is an important sector of the economy, and many financial institutions are interested in lending to the industry. However, in practice, financing construction enterprises can be a difficult task.

The reason is that construction has its own peculiarities: the specific nature of the product, the duration of the technological cycle, the scheme of activities, and the specific features of the projects themselves.

This course covers some of the main aspects that should be considered when financing construction businesses.

The course is aimed at a wide range of specialists and middle managers of financial institutions serving clients operating in the construction industry.

It consists of four lessons:
Lesson 1. Specifics of financing construction
Lesson 2. Subjects (participants) in construction
Lesson 3. Steps and relevant documentation in construction
Lesson 4. Specifics of the analysis of construction

Upon completion of this course, you will:

  • have an understanding of the specifics that should be considered in your work with clients operating in the construction industry;
  • be familiar with the characteristics of entities that may apply to you for a loan;
  • study the typical interaction schemes between different participants;
  • analyse the basic stages of a classical construction process;
  • be familiar with the documents that a client should have for a specific project/s and which will be useful to you in the analysis process;
  • study the specifics of work at various stages;
  • work out an analysis algorithm;
  • know how to use analysis tools.

At the end of the course, you will be asked to take a final test. Based on the results, the platform will generate an electronic course completion certificate.

Each lesson takes about 30-35 minutes of study time. It is recommended not to study more than one or two lessons per week.
